Boho Elopement at Zion National Park with Hannah & Mark

Put your hiking boots on. Let’s go get married!!

Hannah and Mark’s story began on a cliff side in Ireland of all places. No we’re not joking. They were both in the same tour guide group while on vacation. Mark lived in New York and Hannah was in Australia! They caught each other’s eye and Mark finally made a move during a moment of breathtaking views. Romantic AF!

Some time later, they were planning on getting married and then the COVID-19 Pandemic hit. Their plans for a grand wedding with both sides of the family had to be adjusted. Especially with international travelers. So they decided to elope and chose Zion National Park in Utah.

My photography partner, Dionna, and I spent most of the day photographing their journey into marriage. First arriving at their tipi outside the park, we documented the boho details, getting ready portion, and emotional first look. Then we traveled into the park for couple photos, so that we could travel to our final ceremony location at sunset.

Zion National Park requires a special permit to perform marriages inside the park. But Hannah & Mark had no issue, and maybe even preferred, our secret ceremony location (provided by our awesome partnered local officiant, Jenn) just outside the park.

Their ceremony was complete with all the boho details, meditation, breathing, and, of course, all the love! It was a moment that could only be explained as perfectly them.

As the sun set, we sat back and enjoyed a picnic and then the stars. We reflected on how the universe brought all this together so perfectly. Hannah & Mark booked us the same day Dionna and I became bff’s/business partners, and decided to do this whole destination wedding thing together. True story.

If you’re considering an elopement at a national park, this is definitely your sign to start planning. We can help you make it come together!

I can’t wait to continue traveling the world, making amazing connections, and delivering memories that will be cherished for generations! Will you be the next couple?

You can find my current travel/availability here! And learn more about how we can make your dreams of eloping (almost) anywhere, a reality!
