“I opened the gallery thinking there's no way I'll like 45 photos of myself and then I favorited double that amount.”

Believe it or not, you too can experience healing through photography!

From edgy elopements to sexy editorial portraits, I’ve got you covered.

  • colorado elopement photographer

    Cindy & Juan

On the day of the elopement, 4/20, Jas was a calming presence, making us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Reminding us that it’s our special day and we had nothing to worry about. The photos turned out to be stunning, perfectly reflecting the joy and intimacy of our special day. Each shot is a work of art that we will cherish forever.

  • bride and groom moody dark hotel lounge

    Paige & Savan

One thing that was important to us when looking for a photographer was someone who knew how to photograph and edit a range of skin tones. Their editing style is natural, and they do a great job helping you get comfortable with having your photo taken. We chose to focus on joy, celebration, and not taking things too seriously, and all those vibes and emotions came through!

  • couple engagement photoshoot bar

    Kate & Jon

My fiancé and I had the absolute best time doing our engagement photoshoot with Jas! I was apprehensive because I had never gotten professional photos taken, but Jas made us feel comfortable, was encouraging, coached us on poses and using the venue! We had so much fun and our photos are incredible!!

  • Zoey (she/her)

I had an unbelievably positive experience getting queer affirming headshots with Jas! The past 5 years have been hard and I had zero photos that looked or felt like my current self. I was worried a photo shoot might end up making me feel more insecure, but this was so far from the truth! Jas made it comfortable, easy, and fun from the jump and I love how the photos feel like (confident) me. The whole process was accessible, affirming, and genuinely delightful!

  • A (she/they)

I'm only giving 5 stars, cause anything above that is not an option. I was really anxious about this shoot, and I probably told them that 100 times before the day of the shoot. Jas was great with communication and at calming my nerves. They were like my own personal hype person. You're allowed to bring your own, but you don't need it with Jas. I can't recommend them enough. Jas is the photography hero we all need.

The category is…self confidence

Art imitates life. Or is it, life imitates art?? We can sit around and debate or start the healing process ourselves! Consider me the unofficial sixth member of Queer Eye teaching you how to vogue and find your power forever.

“…Shaping Denver’s Queer Art Scene Through Authenticity and Connection”

“When Jas Kitterman moved to Denver, they didn’t just bring their camera — they brought a vision.

As a young, queer photographer, Kitterman quickly found a supportive community in Denver’s vibrant art scene. Through resilience, networking, and an unwavering commitment to capturing the authentic queer experience, Kitterman has not only built a successful career but now stands as a cornerstone of the city’s queer artistic community.

Today, they are on a mission to cultivate acceptance and forge strong connections among queer artists in Denver, ensuring that everyone has a place in the creative landscape.”
