5 Tips For A Perfect Wedding Day With All The Pics!

Wedding photographers have seen it all.

These portraits of Sydney & Brady have got me feeling wedding fever all over AGAIN! Just look at them! STUNNING!

Being a Colorado wedding photographer is an absolute dream with the landscape and gorgeous sunsets!

As wedding season comes to an end, I can’t help but reflect on how much I’ve learned this year!

1. Go with the flow

Wedding days are messy. No matter what. Just add an extra two hours of padding into any schedule and enjoy the day for all the whirlwinds. No stress allowed!!

2. Secure a wedding planner/coordinator!

When the photographer has to do both jobs, it’s stressful and also eliminates some of the time they have to be actually shooting. A great wedding planner will let us know when/where, gather the guests, have snacks on deck, just be an overall badass asset to your big day!

3. Do something unique and fun for you!

I’ve seen so many awesome details this year. This wedding had DIY pizza and Olive Garden breadsticks like YUM. Keep it coming!

4. Schedule your portraits/ceremony at golden hour!

A surprising amount of people think photos look best during “high sun,” but it actually can be really difficult to shoot consistent photos in. It’s better to have your magical moments in the glow of golden hour for some beautiful pictures!

5. Do your “grand exit” a little earlier if you know that your family has to dip out early.

We want the non-midnight partners to join in. Consider staging the shot early and then partying with your guests back into the reception! This way nobody gets left out of the big celebration! Got the idea from these rockstars!

I have so many fun and lifesaving tips to share on weddings! Keep up with me on socials and don’t miss a thing!
