Louis & Brandon’s Intimate Fall Wedding at Denver Botanic Gardens

On a crisp but sunny fall day in Colorado, Louis and Brandon tied the knot among their closest friends and family. The Denver Botanic Gardens were in full bloom right before winter and couldn’t have made for a better setting. L + B messaged me about two weeks prior to their elopement and were thrilled I was able to hop in last minute for their intimate wedding. And although we didn’t have too much time to get to know each other before the big day, these two had my whole heart by the end.

Their love story began in a gay bar of course, took them to a proposal at the Eiffel Tower, and then back home for a ceremony that was so them it ended with rainbow cupcakes and Qdoba catering.

As the sun set, L + B gave me tons of tips for my Paris wedding trip because I was hopping on the flight in less than 12 hours! L slipped a little bill in my hand and told me to have a drink for him, and to consider proposing while I was there like he did (I did not lol) and I knew we were meant to cross paths. I mean even my friends, Tirzah, at Nearlywed Coaching, and local wedding singer, John Brewster, were there! I hadn’t run into them in a second, and it was such a perfect reunion.

I love shooting weddings (and people) because I get to witness a little bit love and hear wonderful stories! Weddings are magical ✨ especially during Colorado fall.

More on my Paris trip next, but for now enjoy these gorgeous pics at Denver Botanic Gardens in the Woodland Mosaic solarium.
